Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor is a Japanese light novel series written by TarÅ Hitsuji and illustrated by Kurone Mishima Sistine Fibel and her best friend Rumia Tingel are students at a prestigious magical academy, where Sistine hopes to be trained by the best there is in order to unravel the secrets of the mysterious Sky Castle per her grandfather's last wish The story has a lot of potential but I don't think it quite fully executes upon it in the first season This is an anime that has a really mixed presentation (Mind you I actually found it enjoyable still) On one hand we have a silly show where the teacher's antics and being a, you guessed it, bastard, are played upon in some funny waysAge Rating R Dislike 51 Rating 7243/100 Sistina attends a magical academy to hone her skills in the magical arts, hoping to solve the mystery of the enigmatic Sky Castle After the retirement of her favorite teacher, the replacement, Glen, turns out to be a tardy, lazy, and seemingly incompetent bastard of an instructor
